Hey there Guys and Girls and you "unknown" curiosity ones, thanks for taking the time to check out this site. A special thanks goes to my buddy Britt Griffith and his wife Holly for having the faith in me for whooo I am and taking the time to make and maintain this site for me and, for the World to see, visit and shop from.
A little about me.... I have been a Funeral car nut since the age of 11 and sorry Mom & Dad but, I have not out grown it. In fact, It has grown around me and I love it! I My first Hearse was a 1960 Cadilac M/M limo style 3 way electric with factory air/cond & radio @ 19 then, my 2nd Hearse at 20 and have been going ever since. Growing up, I thought I was the only one in the World who wanted a Hearse. In 1979 I bought the book "AMERICAN FUNERAL CARS AND AMBULANCE SINCE 1900" & was amazed at each & every picture & story. whats amazing is that it cost me $17 and change mailed to me. I still own that book today!
Once you drive a Hearse as a privately owned car. There is just nothing like, no comparison, Its a whole new world! Tall windshields, massive head room, ceilings to reach up to with your fingers, wide interior bodies, smoother ride then a passenger Cadillac. The looks from other motorist aaahhhhing and ooohhhing you as you pull up next to them, or away from a traffic light, into gas stations or the occasional fast food drive threw is just amazing. Some of the double takes, stares, jaw drops, school children amazement's clinching onto the chain link fences as you drive by are worth every dollar of the purchase price of your Funeral Coach..... Its like "yes" I have arrived!
For those of you in the Funeral Profession I started in funeral service in 1987 (Licensed FD, on call now) and know the importance of a good Funeral Coach & style and can appreciate it when the curious public just wants to take a peak inside to actually see what a Coach is & how it operates. Its a normal curiosity, be nice to them.
In all.... This page is to offer those of you out there a chance to buy in most cases a "Just out of Funeral service" professional vehicle, some may need touch ups, others not. In some cases I may carry some hard to find parts *rollers, skid plates, doors, bumpers, glass, wheel covers, etc., etc. I do carry "real" caskets that have been used as movie props, party rentals, etc., etc., that I do sell to those "special people. Some do get damaged and sell for a better price but, not free!
A note to some parents... Ok, lets talk... My Dad was the one that was most "afraid" what would the neighbors say?? Whooo cares! Do they pay your bills or get the other neighbors permission before "they" buy an SUV?? In a certain color?? Did they approve of the color of your house?? or that tree that you stuck in your back yard? (unless you live in Orange County California..... boring!!!!! ) Or those tacky shoes you bought last week?? Heck!! Its America! You buy what you want!! buy the recorded music you want!! and If a neighbor has a problem about your tacky tree and Orange color of your "Oversized" SUV or your shoes or the Hearse that your son or daughter wants to own then "thats right" It,s their problem!!! There is NO LAW about owning a hearse. Did they ask you If they could buy a "yappy" dog first, or the boat in their driveway that sits..?? I doubt it. A Hearse is a Car, a special hand built &crafted car like no other, they are solid, safe wont cave in Incas of an unexpected accident, soo dont go hard on someone's dream of owning and driving one, the "want" is always gonna be there, it will just be a part of life's fun they missed cause someone was afraid of "What would the neighbors say"
Enjoy the pages comming up......
Thanks for looking
